You’ve reached the final stage – the pre-employment and vetting checks – and we’re glad you’re here. Becoming a PCSO is about building trust, helping to reduce crime and helping people feel safe – and you’re almost ready to play your part. While recruitment is officially paused until April 2026 at the earliest due to reduced hiring requirements for the 2025/26 financial year, we hope you’ll stay with us. When the process reopens, we’ll complete these checks and get you ready for training.
